In my teaching, I am passionate about de-mystifying academia, dismantling the hidden curriculum and communicating with students in a manner which is accessible and enjoyable. This is informed by guidelines such as Universal Design for Learning. Under the wings of key teaching mentors, particularly Dr Laura K. Taylor, I have developed resources for students about finding and evaluating academic sources, reading guides, jigsaw reading activities and assignments applying research and theory to real-world examples.
